sassiefin was on a visit to watch some Indian movies with me today. I have a huge pile of unwatched movies waiting, but tonight we watched Saawariya and Jab We Met. There are some spoilers in my comments to both movies.

I had a fun day yesterday with Old Schoolfriend. We met for lunch and went to this Nepalese restaurant she knew. The food was delicious. Afterwards we went to her place for one of our irregular movie nights.

I visited Old Schoolfriend today, and together we watched Jaan-e-Mann starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta. Surprisinly enough, it was a *really* funny comedy. Indian humour is quite often a bit iffy to my taste, but this time it worked very well ( Read more... )

I liked it, it was great fun. Actually, it was pretty hilarious at times, which is a surprise to me. I've never been that fond of Indian comedies, so liking this was a big surprise to me. The "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" song had me in hysterical giggles, especially after Salman and Akshay show up in those grass skirts :D ( Read more... )
